How to rotate a PDF
Flip a PDF that was scanned sideways, or turn a single page at a time. The rotation is saved permanently into the exported file, not just the on-screen view, so anyone who opens it sees the pages the right way up.
- Upload your PDF. Drop a file onto the page, or choose one from your device. It stays on your computer.
- Select pages or all. Click thumbnails to rotate only those pages, or leave none selected to rotate the whole document.
- Rotate. Turn pages left, right or 180°. The preview updates straight away.
- Download the saved file. Choose Save Rotated PDF. The new orientation is written into the file itself.
Need to delete or reorder pages too, not just rotate them? Delete pages from a PDF instead. Need to fill or sign the document? Use the PDF Editor.
Rotate PDF questions
How do I rotate a PDF and save it permanently?
Upload your PDF, rotate the pages you need, then download. The rotation is written into the downloaded file, not just the viewer, so every app opens the pages the right way up.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Click the page thumbnails you want, then rotate left, right or 180°. Pages you do not select stay as they are.
Are my files uploaded when I rotate a PDF?
No. Rotation happens entirely inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device.
Can I rotate every page at once?
Yes. Use Rotate all left, Rotate all right or Rotate all 180° to turn the whole document in one step.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Rotation only changes each page's rotation value, so text, images, links, fonts and page dimensions are untouched and the document stays searchable.
