Frequently Asked Questions
Is my PDF secure when using this tool?
Yes, all processing happens directly in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to any server, ensuring complete privacy and security for sensitive documents.
Can I remove a watermark I've added?
No, watermarks are permanently added to the PDF. We recommend keeping a copy of your original PDF before watermarking. For removable watermarks, consider our Pro plan which offers reversible watermarking.
What's the difference between tiled and positioned watermarks?
A tiled watermark repeats across the entire page, providing maximum coverage. Positioned watermarks appear only once at your selected location (corner, center, etc.).
Can I watermark password-protected PDFs?
Basic password-protected PDFs can be watermarked if you have the password to open them. However, PDFs with editing restrictions may not be modifiable. Pro users can access advanced security options.
